Cultural treasure
A cultural treasure is a heritage site shown as a marker on the map. When you are physically nearby, you unlock the treasure, read the story behind it and earn points. It might be a statue you have walked past a thousand times, an old house with an unexpected past, or the very place where something important happened.
Culture walk
Set out on a culture walk! You follow a series of cultural treasures that take you through the cultural history of an area. It becomes a guided tour at your own pace, without a guide and without opening hours.
Points and competition
You earn points every time you visit a cultural treasure, and extra points when you answer the questions correctly along the way. The points let you compete against friends, family and others in your area.
Invite friends
Invite your friends to join the hunt and earn points every time someone joins. You learn about local culture while reaching your daily step goals.
Kulturjakten is made for anyone who wants to discover more where they are. Take a solo walk on a Sunday, head out with a group of friends, use it as something to do on a date, or let the family compete on a day out in town. The app is free, available in Norwegian and English, and works just as well at home as when travelling.
