How Kulturjakten handles personal data.

Data controller

Link Utvikling AS is responsible for the processing of personal data in Kulturjakten, and processes user data in accordance with the GDPR and Norwegian law.

What we collect

The service stores account details such as email, username, age group and municipality, activity data such as visited cultural treasures and walks, location information needed for the geographic features, and technical logs and error reports.

How long we keep the data

Visit history is stored for up to 48 hours. Area data is stored for up to one year. Your account is kept while it is in active use, and is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time after use ends.

Providers

The service uses Google Firebase, Google Maps Platform and DigitalOcean as sub-processors. Data processing and storage take place within the EEA.

Your rights

You can request access to your own data, correction, deletion or data portability by contacting us by email. Your account can be deleted at any time.
